Hero - Tomb Prince, great weapon, armor of fortune = 139
Hero - Tomb Herald, BSB, talisman of preservation = 130
Hero - Liche Priest, level 2, channeling staff, talisman of endurance - 150
Core - 50 skeleton warriors, full command - 230
Core - 20 skeleton archers, standard bearer - 130
Core - 4 skeleton chariots - 220
Would do you think? Did I spend too many points on magic items? How would you improve on my list?
Thanks in advance.

Unless TK have a special rule that contradicts the general rule of percentages in army composition... Your list is illegal. You're allowed 25% of your point on heroes and you have almost 42%.

Gah, thanks you two!
Should have double checked my list before posting ...
Great advice too.
Rep for both of you!
Ok, here goes shot #2 ...
lord - tomb king, great weapon, skeleton chariot = 231
hero - liche priest, level 2 wizard = 105
core - 5 skeleton chariots, standard bearer = 285
core - 14 skeleton archers, standard bearer = 94
core - 30 skeleton warriors, full command = 150
rare - casket of souls = 135
No point having a casket and only a lvl 2 wizard dude he will have more than enough dice for himself to use! I would drop if for a catapult because they are remarkably handy tbh add more archers and try and slip in some tomb guard because hand weapon and shield skelies SUCK no matter what eay you loook at it especially with no WS boost.
Does the king need to be with 5 chariots? Maybe 3 instead does relativly the same job. Rest of the points could be spread around a little
Just my thoughts
P.S you have too many points invested in core troops tomb kings are all about the special choices
With the new tomb kings I really have not changed my list execpt added more skeletons. For 1000 points I find it's good to have
250 points on the dot in chars, tomb prince + Heirophant
1x block of 40 skeletons with sword/board
1x block of 20 skeletons with bows
hide the heirophant in the bow group
put the tomb prince in the sword/board group
2x Screaming skull catapults
2x tomb scorpions
this will leave you some points for some other guys. You can always remove a scorpion for more points.
This is just my humble suggestion.
