Hi there, i'm a die hard 40k player and i've been meaning to get into fantasy for a good while. I want to put together a tomb kings army because i like the idea of an undead horde. Here is the list i have come up with so far and i would appreciate advice from all you seasoned players. The army consists of a good solid block of troops, with some fast and hard hitting elements. I think it is as balanced as i can make it. Here goes
Tomb prince general - light armour, sheild, flail of skulls - 149 points
liche preist - staff of ravening, steed - 168 points
liche preist - dispel scroll, hieratic jar - 165 points
20 skeleton warriors, full command, hand weapons & sheilds (generals unit) - 185 points
20 skeleton warriors, full comand, spears & sheilds - 205 points
10 skeleton warriors, bows - 80 points
8 light horsemen, full command - 147 points
3 chariots - 120 points
3 ushabti - 195 points
1 tomb scorpion - 85 points
total - 1499 points
i intend to have the liche priest on foot as my heirophant and keep him close to the archers so that he can allow them to fire twice with his magic. Ideas and comments are all greatly appreciated!
its a fairly solid list...
unfortuneately it is likely to get its @$$ kicked by shooty armies, with you tomb kings moving 4inches a turn. you'd have to use magic to counter this, and your opponent will most likley stop it...
that said its a good defensive, counter attack force...
