I'm trying out lists on all armies and the Tomb Kings are next in line. This is what I made up.
Tomb Prince (178 )
great weapon, light armour, shield
Chariot of Fire
Liche Priest (135)
Cloak of the Dunes
Liche Priest (140)
20 Skeleton Warriors (205)
light armour, shields
20 Skeleton Warriors (195)
light armour, shields
standard bearer, musician
10 Skeleton Warriors (80)
5 Heavy Horsemen (80)
3 Chariots (185) w/ Tomb Prince
champion, standard bearer
Banner of the Undying Legion
3 Chariots (120)
3 Carrion (72)
Screaming Skull Catapult (110)
Skulls of the Foe
What do you think of it?
Both your Skelie units should have full command and/or spears. You don't relly need the musicans anyway.
By day he fought with sword and shield.....
By night he fought with pen and parchment.....
He was....The Warrior Poet.......
Fear the ANZAC Clan!!!!!
ORDER OF THE SHADOWY FLAME!!!
Do you have uber micro...????
The chariot of fire doesn't automatically give you a chariot, so you have to buy one.(it's at least not filled in there)
I can't see a real offensive list in this.
Throw out all combat skellies, and put in a unit of 12 HH+warbanner+FC.
For the rest buy more HH or maybe some tomb swarms.

It's just not listed, but the Prince does have a Chariot. At least a Prince w/ GW, LA, Sh, Light Chariot and CoF is 178pts.
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD
I've taken the musicians in case a fight becomes a draw. As long as I outnumber them, they'll run.
The Prince indeed has a chariot. I just didn't think it necessary to state it apart.
And I didn't mean an all out charging army. More like an accent of the offense. In 1.5k you can IMO mount a considerable offensive battle with 2 units of chariots supported by some cavalry. And the Prince himself packs quite a punch too.
So the Skellie blocks will stay, I love a good reliable anchor or two.
I did have 2 Swarms included for taking out mages, warmachines etc, but decided to drop them for a cheaper unit of Carrion. And hope they do the job too. Will a Tomb Scorpion be more effective or should I stick with Tomb Swarms anyway?
And what to drop to pay? Some of the commands or the Banner of the Undying Legion?
On a tie musicians win the combat with a +1 modifier. If you outnumber your opponent autobreaks because of fear. Musicians are definatly worth it.Originally Posted by warrior poet
