8 ushabti? this seems a little excessive.
i also think that 5 dispels scrolls is a bit much as well, swap one for banner of undying legion of your chariots. also a musician will do very little for a chariot unit, so id drop that aswell.

its good to see you have no horsemen, but its not so good to see not a single rare choice, a catapult being the most obvious. you could get one by dropping 1 ushabti and the tomb swarm (undead swarm kind of defeat the point of swarm).

hmm, it looks like an ok list, its just very difficult to picture...

With 3 wizards your going to dominate your opponents magic phase. I'd trade out all the scrolls for other magic items, or banners to cast magic. Your opponent can't stop all of it. Consider the Casket of souls in such a shooty army. Also a good block of normal skeletons with hand weapon and shield will be a good anchor for your army.

I'm planning on keeping the full 8 unit of Ushabti because I get the rank bonus. Do any of you think I should trade two scrolls and a tomb scorpion for a screaming skull catapult with skulls of the foe and a banner of the undying legion for the chariot? Or should I trade the 2 scrolls, the scorpion, and the tomb swarm for a casket of souls? Or should I leave it how it is?

Also, I plan on using a bone giant in some games depending on who I'm playing.

    Thanks for any more suggestions.

I'd say decide what kind of army your going to play first. If you want to go shooty, which is what it looks like with 3 units of skeleton archers then field the casket and a catapult. If you want to be more mobile, then field less archers, more chariots, light cav, infantry, Ushatabi, and your Bone Giant.

    Liche High Priest
    -Neferra's plaques of Mighty Incantations
    -Cloak of the Dunes
    -Dispel Scroll x2
    Total: 345 points
Ditch the plaque, and a dispell scroll
    Liche Priest
    -dispel scroll
    Total: 140 points
    Give him a casket

    Liche Priest
    -dispel scroll x2
    Total: 165 points
    Ditch the dispell scrolls

    Tomb Prince
    -chariot
    -chariot of fire
    -golden eye of Rah-Nut
    -great weapon
    -light armour
    -shield
    Total: 203 points
Ditch the eye, and the chariot of fire and the great weapon and the shield. Get the spear of antarhak, and an enchanted shield. Those extra few chariot attacks will do very little, but a better save, and the ability to do more damage on the charge while repairing the chariots... wonderful

    10x skeleton warriors
    -bows
    Total: 80 points

    10x skeleton warriors
    -bows
    Total: 80 points

    10x skeleton warriors
    -bows
    Total: 80 points

    Tomb Swarm
    Total: 45 points
Good but drop the swarm. You've got enough ICFB
    3x Chariots
    -champion
    -standard
    -musician
NEVER buy champions for your WS2 S3 units. It isn't worth 10-20 pts. Ditch the musician
    Total: 170 points

    8x Ushabti
    Total: 520 points

    Tomb Scorpion
    Total: 85 points

    Tomb Scorpion
    Total: 85 points
Drop to 2 units of 3 Ushbati and 1 scorpion. Pick up a catapult without skulls of the foe (unless you have extra points)(reason for ditching 2 ushbati is to pay for the casket)

I know you said you wanted the rank bonus but I cannot stress enough how bad this idea is. It's costing TONS of extra points, destroying maneuverability, and they'll probably take a few wounds before they reach combat, nullifying your entire plan (yes you can use the ressurecting power, but with the amount of shooting the enemy will be putting into this unit, it will lose more models than you can heal. You'll probably reach combat with 6).

ALSO, Ushbati are intended for flanking and combined assaults. In a combined assault you've already got ranks in the helping unit. In a flank the enemy doesn't have ranks and it doesn't matter since you're better at fighting than them.

I have a quick question, do impact hits count towards combat resolution or is it considered before combat?

P.S. Thanks for all the help.

They count towards combat res... I think. But I haven't seen the rulebook in 2 months, so you may not want to believe me. But it's under chariots in the main rulebook Just read.

they do, otherwise you'd never win combat... and also the whole point of the new ogre list would be defeated...

    heroes
    liche priest+cloak of dunes+heratic jar=160Pts
    liche priest+staff of ravening=160Pts

    core units
    20 spearmen +undying legion banner=245Pts
    20 hw+sheild skeletons +chp+standard=200Pts
    20 hw+sheild skeletons +chp+standard=200Pts
    20 hw+sheild skeletons +chp+standard=200Pts

    Special
    tomb scorpion
    3 carrion =72Pts
    20 tomb gaurd+command+icon of the sacred eye=314Pts

thats my list that i use half a year ago and i thought theres no point having musicans on skeleton units cause they never dra combat. they lose or win.

with this list i acceived the best composition in the tournament.
