Like I've said on the chariot thread, I own pretty much the the army types asides for an undead army, and decided I went for the underdogs instead of the Vampire Counts. I really like the Idea of 30 chariots strolling down the table top, so here it goes.

Any thoughts or comments?
Wow. There's a list that will hit like a truck if I ever saw one...well, it will hit like a non-Ogre list at least.
I have a few questions:
Will the Tomb King be in a unit or all by his lonesome?
Will the Tomb Swarms be "It Came from Below..."ing?
Strategically, I can feel what you're going for, but I think you may be a mite short on "disrupting" units. Would a "deep-striking" Tomb Scorpion be useful to disrupt enemy lines and movements?
Very nice, though. Lots of magic and extremely fast. I like it.
WHFB: Dwarfs || WH40k: Imperial Fists, Necrons || WM/H: Trollbloods || BFG: Necrons
Thanks, this is my first try at Tomb Kings, and it would hit like and 18 wheeler with and extension ^_^
The tomb king will join the 7 strong unit, the only reason why I would use him by himself would be with the Icon Of Ruleship, making is Unit Strength 5, wich would remove ranks and cause panic checks when rear/flank charging.
The swarms would be from bellow, and along with the carrions should get any threatning war machines (cannons and Stone Throwers).
I could get a scorpion, although I prefer the swarms for thier higher unit strength, and the poison attack can hurt anything, and I thought about getting a third base to get 15 attacks on ogresize models and large targets such as a giant or ogre caracters.
How do you feel with only 2 lich priests? I see that many players go with a third, but I find it a tad overkilling it?
why units of 8. you dont get rank bonus, and you'll only benifit from higher unit strenght.
i turn both those units into units 4 each.
The Unit strength will autao break my opponents if i win combat. units of 4 chariots can't do this. But I guess I could split 1 of my 8 man units into 2 4 man units, without standards?Originally Posted by bonjordo
i suggest u should turn the two large units of chariots and give ya king a great weapon because the spear to me is not that great. well i like the carrion, i my list i use 4 of them as well note 5 of them would be better because it gives u a flank or rear bonus. in this army it might be an idea to take archers.Originally Posted by Wolf_Pack
I will try to squeese in another carrion, having 5 does make sense.
Archers wouldn't be too usefully as I would engage my opponents on turn 2 or 3 at maximum, they would not see too much asp arrow action.
you should aim for 6-7 carrion, if one dies in your unit of 5 your reduced to lower than us5. remember flying units only have a us of 1 (exception pegasus knights of brets)
The problem with 6 or 7 is thier base size and skirmish. if it they get too numerous, I won't be able to fit them it tight spots, and I don't think they'll do too well in combat either due to thier base size as well. They'll main go after mages and warmachines and contest table quarters.
Thanks for the imput thought.
Is 2 tomb swarms enough? they might manage warmachine crew and mages, but on flanks they might have a harder time without more wounds?
I an also wondering about my magic phase, is it decent enough?
