Welcome to Librarium Online!
Ok, this is my provisional list to take to this autumns GT. The Tomb King Goes with his unit of Tomb Guard withe the Prince in the unit of Chariots. The Carrion can take out any war machines with the Chariots taking out any heavy infantry units. The Scorpion might be burried (depends on opponent) with the Ushabti in behind the Archers in reserve. I would be greatful for comment and suggestion.

I'm surprised you took the casket in 2k points, but hey if it works for you
I do think that the army is a little light on infantry though
The casket does soke up alot of points for 2000pt, but think of all those Night Goblin, Empire, skaven and (to a certain extent) chaos armies which will undoubtedly be at the GT? Admitedly against any elven army or dwarfs its pritty useless but still means that your opponent finds it more difficult to gets their spells off. To be honest, TK infantry is pritty rubbish. A tooled up skelly unit is nearly as expensive as a Tomb Guard Unit, Instead do you think that I should try to add some more archers? I was also contemplating taking another unit of chariots, what do you think?

Two large blocks of skeletons plus the tomb guard unit is what i would go for.
Remember undead win by combat res and autobreak, which is going to be hard with your army
Just my thoughts
One tactic is to do both at the same time. Take 20 man archer units with full command. Just before the enemy hits reform them and you have a fully ranked, unbreakable fighting block that will hold out until something can flank or rear charge the enemy.
P.S. this tactic does not work againt chosen chaos knights. I once had 20 archers being charged by 8 chosen chaos kinights of khorne. no unit should be able dish out 19 WS 5, S 5 attacks and have all of them hit and wound. 20 dead archers and a chosen chaos knight unit running rampant in my ranks. Not a pleasant day.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them. And then, there are others...
Aye this is indeed a good tactic, shame about the chaos knights though
You are correct! No unit should do that!Originally Posted by The Cookie Monster

granted you're probably then losing another 8 or 9 from resolution but hey! They're not over-running in one round!
