Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hi all! Thanks in advance for your input and suggestions on this....
I'm a new TK player and I'm sketching out the TK army that I want to paint. 2250 seems to be the standard point value for the local gamers so that's what I'm shooting for. I may use this in tournaments eventually but probably not for a while. I'm 90% done with this but I need a little help deciding what to do with the last 168 points that I have available.
Liche High Priest (hierophant) with Cloak of Dunes and Golden Ankra (315)
Liche Priest: Casket of Souls, Collar of Shapesh (305)
Tomb Prince (general): light armor and shield (104) with skeleton warriors
Tomb Prince: light armor and shield (104) with ?
32 x skeleton warriors - spear, light armor & shield with full command (355)
4 x tomb swarms -
8 x heavy cavalry - with full command (163)
3 x chariots -
3 x carrion -
12 x tomb guard - with full command (174)
tomb scorpion -
screaming skull catapult - with skulls of foe
COS - (already included above)
Please let me know what you think and help answer my burning questions:
What do I spend my last 168 point on? (dispel scrolls, weapons for the TPs, banners???)
Where do I put my 2nd TP?
EDIT: Some point totals removed. GW gets the itchy eye about totals that reveal per model / item cost. Thanks. ~DavidVC04

I think your tomb guard would benefit from bigger numbers. You risk them actually being wiped out at that small size. You'd spend your magic phase desperately trying to keep their numbers up instead of using some of the other cool incantations you have.
16 is a minimum for tomb guard, and I woud push it to 18-20. In this particualr army, I would see you use a single prince, and use a unit with a great impact to build up CR, such as ushabti or a bone giant.
Heavy cavarly isn't worth the base it is glued to, you could probably recivle them into a chariot convertion. They only get a save of 4+ (wich is the save of a skeleton), and get half the amount of wounds in the unit.
I would go for a 19 man tomb guard unit and put one of the tomb princes in it. I also wouldn't go for a 32 man skeleton regiment, as two units of 20 would get the job done better. 4 chariots would wor better than the 8 horsemen too, and would be a cheaper, tougher and harder hitting unit. Combine that with a potential 24" magical charge and your right on the money.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them. And then, there are others...
