I've come up with a quick list to build my 2000 point tomb kings army- unfortunately I still have several hundred points to spare. I'm not really that sure which magical items are good and which aren't, either. Any suggestions would be most welcome!
My basic list would be along the lines of:
Tomb King (chariot)
19x Skeleton Warriors (prince #1 joins them) Full Command
19x Skeleton Warriors (prince #2 joins them) Full Command
10x Skeleton archers
2x chariots (King joins them)
15x Tomb Guard
The idea is to have a strong centre of skellies and tomb guard, and have any other units on the flanks.
~Moved to TK army lists~
Well the chariot unit needs to be 3 large before any characters join them
First, I'd put the king on foot. It's much better to have a Prince on a Chariot.
I'd also consider ´switching one of the Princes to a Priest.
And, most definitely, add some of the following:
Ushabti, Tomb Scorpions, Carrion, Screaming Skull Catapults
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD
Thanks for your help.
How many carrion is it worth taking in a unit? I know they're useful as war machine/mage hunters, but they're quite expensive at 72 points.
Erm carrion aren't 72 points...and before you even think aboot it, don't post their actual costOriginally Posted by Captain Gifford
Carrion can vary in unit size, i like large units where other people think they work best in smaller units. See what works best for you
