    Tomb Kings 2500 points friendly

    Ok so i just worked out a 2500 point list and i wanted your opinion on it thanks a lot

    Tomb King Crook and Flail of Radiance, armour of ages, vambraces of the sun, shield 273

    Icon Bearer light armour, icon of rakaph (this guys goin with the bowmen so before they get charged they can rank up) 107

    Lich Priest (hierophant) Casket of Souls, golden Ankhra 315

    Liche Priest Steed, staff of ravening 158

    20 Skeleton warriors bows, standard, musician 175 (icon bearer)

    20 Skeleton warriors light armour, spears and shields f/c 225

    3 Tomb swarm bases none 135

    10 heavy horsemen f/c (mounted liche priest)

    6 chariots f/c mirage standard 230

    20 Tomb Gaurd f/c Banner of the undying legion (tomb king) 295

    8 carrion 192

    Tomb Scorpion none 85

    Screaming Skull Catapult Skulls of the foe 110
    Total 2495

    So what do u guys think i dont own all this yet so im hoping before i go out and buy it you guys can help me fix this list a bit once again thanks a lot guys!

    Tomb King Crook and Flail of Radiance, armour of ages, vambraces of the sun, shield 273 >>> this guy needs a decent save. C+F is good, but not a common weapon choice, however it can be a great chaklenge weapon. It requires 2 hands, so you may as well drop the shield. Also swap the Armour of Ages for the Collar of Shapesh, get a decent 'save'

    Icon Bearer light armour, icon of rakaph (this guys goin with the bowmen so before they get charged they can rank up) 107
    >>> the bowmen could reform anyway before hgetting charged, the Icon is more useful for turning around charging annoying units to your side or rear.

    Lich Priest (hierophant) Casket of Souls, golden Ankhra 315
    >>> never put your hierophant at a casket. hes too static. Keep this guy, but drop the ankrah, its too expensive bearing in mind the casket is good enough protection outside combat.

    Liche Priest Steed, staff of ravening 158
    >>> make this guy your Hphant. Give him the cloak of Dunes and possibly hieratic Jar



    20 Skeleton warriors bows, standard, musician 175 (icon bearer)
    20 Skeleton warriors light armour, spears and shields f/c 225
    >>> boost these units to 24, they have abit more expendability and surviveability then. Also, never ever use spears on skellies, the extra attacks arent worth is as they are so poor. Drop those guys down to hand weapon shield, or even just bows (no LA for bowmen) Also, loose the champion from the command, waste of points.

    3 Tomb swarm bases none 135
    >>> i find a unit of 2 sufficient, but it depends what you want them for exactly.

    10 heavy horsemen f/c (mounted liche priest)
    >>> as i suggested to loose the mounted priest, id loose these guys entirely. If you ever need a cavalry unit to accompany a priest, use a unit of 5 light. 'heavy' are 'meant' for combat, and the priest certainly isnt. and from the ight, you get bows too.

    6 chariots f/c mirage standard 230
    >>> this unit is way too big. running in 2 ranks of 3, you wont get a rank bonus. Running in 1 rank of 6, its too large to be easily controllable. Drop the standard and split the unit in to two separate units.

    20 Tomb Gaurd f/c Banner of the undying legion (tomb king) 295
    >>> food unit for the king to be in. Again, add another 4 guard.

    8 carrion 192
    >>> this unit is a bit large, drop it down to 6 or 5 even. With the extra points (and points saved from cavalry etc) build up your special choices. A nice unit of 4 Ushabti will be good, and a second Scorpion useful

    >>> good

    Few things, the Icon Bearer cannot take the staff of ravening, its arcane. Keep him with the icon of rakaph.
    Also, i jus noticed i wasnt very clear about the chariot units, i forgot to say to drop all command too. the champion is especially worthless, and the musicin is barely worth his points either. By drop the standard i meant the mirage standard, the best bit of command s the standard bearer, although without a character leading the unit id leave thoose out too.
    With those points saved youll have enough for a 4th ushabti.

    Actually you still have a bit of chopping to do, the list is over. You have the points for the king wrong, 260 i think.
    Assuming the king going in the tomb guard unit the icon bearer may be better placed n one of the skellie units, however him in the tomb guard also would be nasty. Drop a guard from the unit and put the IB there, and drop the IB's LA. That should be on the points limit then.
