If that's the case, it may not really be worth it to sweat the no metal thing. They probably would have wanted to bring the most advanced technology at their disposal then, just as folks do now. In their case, it may just happen to be copper or bronze.

The seafaring King was called Amenemhetum (pg.14)

At the very least, I think I'll just try and tone down how much metal weaponry I use. It is a fantasy world after all.

I definitely think I want to get some sort of animated statuary/architecture included in the list, since the Inca did have a penchant for building things.

As for Chariots, if I really want to bend my theme (and plausibility) I could have chariots that are llama driven carts carrying the mummified sacrifices. Kind of a stretch.

Llamas just don't seem like they should be near a battle. They seem too sweet...

the pack of jaguars or giant jaguars idea sounds good as a chariot substitute. You're already stretching reality by placing the Incas in the context of WHFB, and I think a King/Queen would look super dope riding atop a giant cat. It's almost got me wanting to sculpt one myself!

What type of mythological beasts did the Inca's have? Flying snakes?

Actually, yes. Not the same flying snake as the Aztec, but I could incorporate that. Even better, from Wiki about the Inca underworld...
Quote:
Its symbol was the snake, which was thought to die when digging into the earth and reborn after coming out of it.
Got the whole rebirth theme going just by virtue of being TK's. Also, the Inca were pretty good about not quashing the other cultures they conquered, but incorporating their own ideas into their religion. This could give some reason as to why exactly my Liche Priest is riding a giant Jaguar/Snake.

Also, in my digging, apparently they did manage some copper working, just not Iron. Copper axes and spears should be just fine, and the swords can just be antiques from Khemri.

A little more inspiration I found...
Quote:
Mamaconas were similar to nuns and lived in temple sanctuaries. They dedicated their lives to Inti, lived a life of chastity, and served the Inca and priests. Young girls of the nobility or of exceptional beauty were trained for four years as acllas and then had the option of becoming mamaconas or marrying Inca nobles.
Quote:
A Huaca was a sacred object such as a mountain or a mummy
I know what my Casket of Souls will be if I ever take one; I really old mummy thats nearly falling apart on his portable altar. As for the Mamaconas...

Edit: The only question is were do I get giant animated Jaguar statues or snake, or what have you? I'm not seeing any in the GW line, and other places are way too expensive.

Edit2: The Sabretusks that come with the Ogre Hunter could make good Jaguars with some modifications. Sort of expensive though ($5.00 a piece). I also found some good models for my Liche Priests, the Amazon Serpent Priestess's: Link.
Just add a little greenstuff and the proper paint-scheme and voila! Inca Liche Priests/Harem/Mamaconas. Still looking for some chariot replacement though. I might have to go with Jaguar riding heavy cavalry otherwise.

About your chariot problem... you could model skeletons pulling the chariots...i dont know how you would justify the speed or how they would fight but it would be cool to see...your kings servents pulling his elite unit into battle...slavery...mmmm.

Also for th slings you could cut the bows off the hands and glue thin string and have it sag down into a "pouch". Pretty cheap to.

Also for the swords (you said earlier that the inca had silver and gold) paint the blade silver and the hilt wooden. Not very sturdy in battle but hey...cheap.
