Hi all!! I'm new to the Tomb King army and Warhammer and have a question about casting incantations. I know that for example that a Liche Priest casts at a power level of 2d6 but can you add an additional die from the 2 dice you automatically get at the start of the magic phase? Also could the same be done with a King/Prince? Thanks in advance!
Nah they're like bound spells. The power level is 2D6, you can't add extra dice from the power pool
Thanks for the quick answer! So do we even get to use our power dice?
Yes. You can use them at the end of your magic phase to dispel remains in play spells. (Very handy for Ogres)
Tomb Kings do get the 2 Basic Power dice, and they act like any other, except you cant use them to cast spells.
i.e; you can use them to Dispel the enemies Remains in Play spells. Also they can be stolen by the enemy if they have any sort of 'take an opponants power dice and get an extra dispel dice' sort of thing.

Correct me if i' am wrong but i remember reading in the codex that spell that steal magic dice had no effect against TK army.
Let slip the dogs of war.
Bretonian (over 5k points)
Tomb king (over 5k points)
Ogre kingdom (4.5k points)
Tyranid (3k points but not even half assemble, new army)
Q. Incantations vs Drain Magic. Can an incantation be cast at a
power level of 0 or lower? If so, is it automatically dispelled by
the opponent if he wishes to, or is a D6 roll still necessary ?
A. An incantation is always cast, regardless of its power level.
The opponent must still spend one of his dispel dice to dispel
the incantation. However, the result will automatically be higher
than 0 and the incantation will be dispelled.
