I already have a VC army and a whole load of skeletons.
Their basing is definitely not sand though.
So I was thinking ..... Ummmm... do I want to go for all sandy bases or do I want to go for just grass and earth as usual.... or what.
I will of course be playing on green topped tables so maybe sand would look weird.
What colour groundwork do you go for?
All my TK are based with the GW sand, and the edges of the bases are scorched brown.
Though really, it doesnt matter. The only problem with VC skellies is that they lack the far cooler TK shields.
I would really like to see Tomb Kings that aren't based in sand. In their heyday, they covered a lot of territory. Even now, if you look at there maps, they still have mountains and marshes. Even something as simple as black sand or ash would be a nice change of pace.
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains
give them a road base! with little cobbles, to suggest they are walking in their temple complex, that would be cool!
you can make these with GS, or by cutting shallow grooves in a round piece of plasticard and gluing this on your base, or do as i did, buy plastic cards for railroad houses which have a roundedbrick pattern!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
