Okay, I'm late getting into it, but I just saw the pictures for the new VC skeleton warriors. I like the look of the skulls, but the ribcages looked odd to me. But that's beside the point.
The point I was wondering about is: what does this mean for the TK skeletons? Will they be switched over as well, or will we have time to round out our units before they change the boxes?
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains
I haven't heard of a new Tomb Kings book due anytime soon. The problem I see with the new VC skeletons when it comes to a TK army is that the TK's have such distinctive shields and such.
The TK skellies come with separate sprues for shields and weapons. They would probably convert fine to the new models.
Anyhow, it's a good question. I don't really know.
Although we really need new Skellie models far more than VC did, we are going to be stuck with for the old VC type ones for a while. If you remember, even when they used to be the same, they came in different boxes. A new sprue for us, with our own weapons, would be nice.
