I've never used carrion, they sound good from what everyone says in this forum. But can you charge first turn? Has anyone charged artillery on the first turn?
running your posts through a spellchecker isn't difficult. netspeak isn't permitted on the forums after all and only makes you look bad in the long run. making the effort always looks good  - Arky

Yes, you can get a first turn charge off with the carrion. You move them forward far enough but keep them within range of a priest. Then cast Urgency on them, and *BAM* first turn charge. Its very effective, especially in lists with a lot of magic due to the fact that you're likely to get the incantation off on them.
