![]() At an official tourneys (or against spoilsport opponents) you may have issues. Tourneys will depend on the organiser etc. Paint scheme sounds good ![]() And sure! You can paint your Characters however you like! Its your army, do whatever you like with it ![]() Dont worry, few practise games and the "magic" will come

)The plastic Giant kit offers great options for a TK giant, using the Skeleton bits that come with it, and some of your own from TK sprues, it can be made to look quite cool (i imagine). One idea i had was to mould the skull of the weapon, somehow, into a facemask for the giant

Actually not difficult to do, was considering doing that for my BoC Giant as I gave him the lower jaw to wear around his neck. Cutting the skull from the blue wouldn't be difficult to attach to his face, add on a Green Stuff coif and straps to make it look attached and you could have a very attractive, scary model in a simple conversion. |

hehe no worries, thanks for the reply =) I'll see how I can work around it. If your thinking about Molding things into differen't shapes etc, ever considered Clay ? I only say this because my girlfriend ordered some the otherday and hand crafted me a standard bearer Fully robed no skeleton bits visable bar the hooded skull. It worked very well and is easy to reshape after you have made the initial model / piece. (its the clay you put in the oven to set then paint, i find its alot easier to use than green stuff, but everyman for themselves) - though as I understand or at least mostly read Standard bearers aren't particulary useful, should I include one or is it not worth the bother? The giant idea seems pretty cool, was thinking what kind of '' big '' models i could stick in except the bone Giant, I am not a fan, personally, of the design. I do have the Witch king dragon which i was thinking about getting her to mold bones onto the chest all the way up, turning it into a Skeleton dragon, not sure how this would fit into a TK army tho, I may look into it and fluff something up =)

Hey Phoenix! I actually prefer to give my skellies spears far aesthetic purposes only. They look more organized and grand when they all have spears! Also thanks for this beginners guide. I got back into warhammer recently so I'm going to start playing both dwarfs and TKs because they are basically polar opposites in terms of playing style which makes things interesting for me! I'm gonna try to buy a few more carrion models and another SSC after I do a little work on my dwarfs! By the way, on a funny note, I played a game against a friend of mine and I had his goblin spider riders surrounded by 2 tomb scorpions, 2 tomb swarms, 2 remaining ushabti and... he managed to destroy all of them while I only destroyed 1 spider rider talk about bad dice rolls!

Rep Power: 100 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I can try my best. He does ofcourse have many uses, but the common/popular ones are: - Staff of Ravening. Mounting a SoRav Priest increases his effective range. It does also however reduve his LoS, so be careful. - Joining Cavalry. Generally a unit of 5 Light Cav, often used with the above. - Mounting a Casket Priest. If you have points spare, this can be a handy option incase your Casket comes under thread and you need to leg it to save the Priest. There are probably more but those are the common ones i recommend (off the top of my head atleast) Does that answer your Q?
