    Thank you!

This really is a great thread... just starting a tomb king's army now and it did help alot. I definitely appreciate the effort here.

I do have one question. Shooty units - is there any real value to archers outside of combat patrol scale games?

    Most definately.

Firstly, the archers will allow you to remove enough models from your enemies blocks to remove a rank bonus or two and hopefully win fights (more or less) on combat res alone.

Seccondly, (and this one is usually critical) the archers will allow you to remove just enough enemy models for us to outnumber them in combat and autobreak them with fear.

Autobreaking with fear is really the crux of TK strategy IMHO.
Because Sun Tzu would play Tomb Kings...

um this army list may be horribly wrong and most likely pretty crap

but i guess we all start somewhere

    tomb prince 201 pts
    chariot of fire
    GW
    Amulet of Pha-Stah
    LA

    lich preist (hiero)160pts
    cloak of dunes
    hieratic jar

    Lich preists 160pts
    staff of ravening

    Core
    skeleton warriors x14 122pts
    bows
    standard bearer

    skeletons warriors x14 122pts
    bows
    standard bearer

    skeleton warriors x20 185pts
    full command
    sheilds

    Heavy cavalry x8 156pts
    standard bearer
    champion

    SPECIAL
    Tomb scorpion x1 85pts
    carrion x3 72pts

    RARE
    Bone Giant x1 220pts
    =1483pts

Now please tell me where i'm going wrong and btw im only making an army from the models i have
and i want to have a bone giant so please comment
