i know hes not that good according to a lot of people .. but i had some simple questions that im not understanding that perhaps you all could anwser for me,
First , he counts as both general and hiero correct? so i dont need two modles to repersent this? or do i still need a tomb prince / liche priest
second, half the points must be spent on chariots , heavy cavalry and tomb gaurds,, does this mean half the points divided by 3 to make them all equal or could i lets say in a 2k battle have 1k worth of all tomb guards and chariots.. and the other half on other stuff . not even including heavy cavalry .. or must i have all three and equal numbers .. ?
Thrid , the will of settra.. sayts it casts his WILL BE DONE on each of the units in the army that are chariots , heavy cavlry and tomb guards ,, does this mean once its my magic phase i can use the " tomb kings " will be done.. " free move or free shoot/attack " on each one of my guys.. and is it a d6 ? .. then its goest to my incantaions which works like a HLP .. so 3d6 . x 2 incantainos? or how does this exactly work?
Thanks in advance.
1) He counts as both the general as well as the hierophant, so you do not need any other characters in the army if you don't wish to have them.
2) Firstly, Settra counts as 2 lord choices which means that the army must be at least 3,000 points. You then have to spend atleast 50% of the army points on those three unit-types (they all count towards the 50% limit), no equal numbers required.
3) Yes, you can use Settra's My Will Be Done on each of those units in your army per turn, rolling 2 D6 and choosing the highest as a regular king would have. You then get to use his liche high priest skills and cast 2 incantations (any of them, not just the 2 like My Will Be Done) at power level 3 D6.
So basically, it works just like you wrote it in your question, except for the fact that he gets to roll 2 D6 and choose the highest score for each unit.
Basically for Settra, pick a unit he can use MWBD on, and pick one of the allowed spells (Movement or Attack). Then roll a D6. The spell is cast with that power level, and may be dispelled if the opponant wishes. Then continue with rolling for other units before using his Liche Priest based spells.
ok , but where do you see that he counts as two ? it jsut says he can use incantations in the same manner as a lich high priest .. dosnt say he counts as a HLP . so why would he count as two lord choices?
It says so right above his statistics and right below his name, in the cursive text. Quote - "In addition, so powerful is he that he also uses up an additional Lord choice."
Oh and thanks for pointing me out on that one Phoenix.
oh . ok i see it now.. thanks for the help all ..
does he also count as the queen .. where chariots are only core if settra is the general?
If you take settra, he will be your general, and chariots will be core.
Since questions raised for Settra.
Can we get extra Priests with him? The book says "may not get Hierophant". (I don't have the book at work. Because on the texts he says that he despise Liches.
no book states he is your hiero .. and you may not take any liche priest
