Welcome to Librarium Online!
I need some help against Lizardmen. Expecially against lord. The game will be 2000pts so we can have lords, and he will take a slann or krog-gar. So how to kill them?
If my opponent takes a slann I'm pretty sure that he will take him those upgrades that make him Ethereal, and gives him a free power dice always he casts a spell. So how to deal with the slann?
And what if he takes Krog-gar?
And how to beat the other army? All i know that my opponent will take Skink priest with Engine of the gods, and about 15 temple guard. And lots of terradons, so he can drop rocks with them. So do you think i should play offensive or defensive?
If he's having Terradons make sure your Hiero is in a block for Look Out sir purposes or he'll drop all his rocks on it (personal experience).
Fat Slaan floating guy in a unit of temple guard is hard - try to kill other things or hit it with a full on major flank charge.
I got a bit of luck landing SSC on it.
Might be worth using a casket as, away from the BSB, the units do have low leadership.
I've played them 3 times, got utterly hammered twice and the last game it was only a beating - so things are improving
Don't let stegadons charge you if they have their spear of 2d6+1 impact hits, my 3 ushabti disappeared in a cloud of smashed up dust.
If he takes Engine of the Gods go all out to kill the skink priest.
Next time I might go Khalida, 3LP with 4 scrolls at least.
As many archers as possible with poison and swarms to guard the SSC.
what you really have to be careful of is when he drops a hole over your shite... lost a lot of liche preists that way.
the temple guard are likely to be the last thing you want to even THINK about going after, aside from a stegadon charging you, there's nothing harder to take out in that army. honestly i've been running Khalida HEAVY range lately and i notice it makes him think twice about charging anything cause almost every unit in my army has shooting aside from my Tomb Guard block. yay poison.
Im not sure what kinda saves he has, but an SSC is magical, so should deal with an ethereal Slann nicely if you can get a couple of good hits
If youre using Khalida, double up on the SSCs And as you say, poison is good!
Thanks for your answers so far.
My opponent is not taking a slann, so it will be Krog-gar.
What do you think, could King with DoE and CoS in a skeleton unit stand a chance against krog-gar?
What aboult terradons, how to kill them?
And Temple guard, could ushabti and chariots work against them?
And Engine of the gods... I have found casket useful against it because of skinks low leadership. What do you think, could it work?
As soon i get answers for those guestions l'll make a list and write it here.

but those are just my opinions
You might actually be better off if he takes Kroq-gar than a custom lord, he's a lot of points and not that much better than a home-made version, I think (not for sure) his Carny might have constant frenzy too.....run him to a corner if that is the case.
LM are probably one of the hardest matchups for TK. Pretty much every unit they have either causes fear or terror (Stegs, Carnys, Kroxies w/ skinks, Sallys) and the EotG is absolutely brutal against undead. The skink priest on top has a 2+ A/S.
With the stegadons high movement, it is unlikely that TK can charge them, and even if you do the common practice on EotG is to stack it behind a regular Steg and use the engines powers without having to risk it in combat.
With the skinks on top gaining a free power level, LMs can generate quite a few DD also.
I think casket and SSC are a must. Scorps might also prove to be pretty valuable, let the dive and hope they come up at the right time (preferrably in the 2nd round) behind their lines. Used in tandem they might be more effective than Ushabti and would require less incantation upkeep. BIG skelly units are gonna be necessary to soak up the impact hits and you can pretty much count on doing very little wounds to a stegadon, you'll need outnumber, and ranks and std and maybe icon just to break even.
IMO LMs are right up there with VC, DoC and DE. I firmly feel that the Engine is broken, possibly the most broken thing in the game, and they are one of the few armies that don't need a lord level char to be competitive. 3 EotGs is a lot to handle.
Good luck and let us know how you do.
Thanks again for your answers. That's really helping me!
Here is my list:
Tomb king: Destroyer of eternities, Collar of shapes
Liche priest: Cloak of dunes, Dispel scroll
Liche priest: Steed, Staff of ravening
Liche priest: Casket of souls, Amulet of pha-stah
25 Skeleton warriors: Full command, Banner of the unduying legion, shields, light armours
10 Skeleton archers
6 light cavalry
2x 3 chariots
Sreaming skull catapult: Skulls of foe
King will be on the large skelly unit. Secound priest will probably be with the horsemen.
What do you think? Still 13 points left. What to take with them?Thank, I will.Good luck and let us know how you do.

Needs more Khalida... put I love her so I might be a little jaded. This fight is gonna allllll be about deployment. You must at the least get the charge on them, and most preferably, flank them with a large block of skellies (guard being the best.) This will give you a much needed modifier to their 3D6 LD test, and if you actually have more than them, they autobreak! The casket will be a deterent for your oponent to sace dice for the end of the magic phase, so I would certanly take it. It might be interesting to use a Bone Giant on the steggy, I tried it once with crazy results. Some people don't like the Chiquita Banana look of the giants though, so if you take another SSC I would completely understand.
I would try to snag many banners and items to use, try to drain his dice pool will mundane nonsense, then jmp in for the kill. For me the casket has always been amazing against lizzies. One time I even rolled an 11, maing my casket have the very skaven roll of 13 - that is a loooooot of dead skinks lol.
