I just picked up a bone giant finally, and I hate how static they look. So I am going to do some conversions and give him a good pose. I have seem some of the models on Cool Mini or Not and really liked them, but I think the sword needs to be replaced...can anyone think of a different weapon from the warhammer world, or perhaps something else that I could replace these with? It could be a hammer, sword, flail, there has to be something that looks better than whats on there now
I posed my BG kind of like the artwork on pg. 31 of the TK book. I even sawed and pryed open the mouth for better effect (reforming teeth with green stuff).
It would probably be less dynamic, but you could try the two handed sword type thing found on page 48 as well. With whatever you do, you probably want to keep curved blades and such to go with the TK army theme.
BG with flail would be sweet!
May need some large skulls or something. Chain shouldn't be that hard to get hold of.
The normal giant model has a dragon skull on it's club. That could fit the bone theme of the tomb kings quite well as long as you gave it a more proper look to it! We tomb kings don't just strap bones to a branch and call it a day! We finely craft our weapons with only the most durable and reliable materials. so I would make the wooden portion of the club more smooth and possibly a bit longer and then I would put the animal skull on it!
It's a very simple conversion I made using only the model itself and an extra piece to a chariot!

Cool Simple yet effective.
yep... and guess what, my Bone Giant's legs just came off XD that picture was taken only an hour before it's untimely demise! Better pin my BG too! Can I at least have some rep for my broken converted model! Come on he died for you guys!

I pinned my BG's legs too. Drilled into his hip socket a little too far so the hole was visible on the inside, but a little GS fixed that after it was put together. Looks like you are going to be a pro in no time!.
