Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hey, I got another thread! This time I'm going to ask what the name of your character is in your army! Mine is Queen Afrikaisi meaning (lady from the hills) I got the name from a list of egyptian names and I thought it would suit my general because I play mainly ranged armies placed on hills! Basically, she was the widow of a king who was killed and mutilated so he could not enjoy the afterlife. He was murdered by a noble who wanted the throne. Because she had no sons, she took on the responsibility of ruling the land herself! So she collected her husband's army to find all of the people responsible for the murder of her husband! She came to the noble's palace and killed all of his servants, warriors and officials, for no number of deaths could make up for the loss of her husband! Later she would bring war to many barbaric peoples and conquer land in place of her dead spouse. She later died after decades of warfare and so she was put in the pyramid that was made for both herself and her husband and slept there, alone. When she awoke she found that her lands were overrun with greenskin tribes! She raised her army once again and brought thousands of arrows down on her opponents, for their would be no one who would ever try to take her husband's lands again!
So what is the name of your character and their backstory?

Hi Al! My main character besides High Queen Khalida was little lich priest Jahi, the youngest of the scribes. He was in love with the Queen, though she hardly knew who he was, and was my hierophant for all my smaller point value games.
Thanks for thinking of these great TK questions, they are fun to think about!
I named a Tomb King Enkhra when i entered him into an Arena of Death, and i believe i carried the name for a Votewar army, "Enkhra the Scorpion King" (As i had 4 Scorps at 2K). This also gave me the idea of using the Scorp banner given in the TK book on the back of his chariot.
He has no *real* back story, to be honest i simply came up with the name by taking the "Golden Ankhra" and swapping a letter But it sounded cool so i liked it
I did try to write a large section of fluff once... but im not much of a writer (by which i mean i didnt stick at it, though the bit i did do i think was decent, if a bit cheesy )
Way to be original phoenix! lol I can imagine that writing fluff is difficult because you end up sounding like an idiot a lot of the time!
my King/prince's name is Nebtawi, it is an egyptian name that means Lord of the World.
Having just started my tomb kings, I have yet to figure out my playstyle or in-depth fluff. All I am certain of now is that he was alive during the 6th dynasty and was involved in Alcadizaar's war against Nagash and his minions. He holds a particular hatred for Arkhan the Black.
"I am the architect of fate!"
Back before I had enough models to represent all my characters, I used a Khalida model and dubbed her 'Queen Nedjem'. Nedjem is supposedly the name of the very first domesticated cat in the history of the world - not surprisingly, domesticated by Egyptians.
When I found the right reaper model to represent my Tomb King, I dubbed him 'Prince Kakalookiyam, Lion of the Royal Army of Nedjem'
If you know where Kakalookiyam comes from, then you are an avid gamer with a good memory, and the man. No fair if you use the intarweb to find it out.

Those of you who check out the AoDs will recognise my general's names for everything.
I think of my army as the Golden Legion of Phas-thra the Golden Emperor. Seconded by Arshath Lord of the Teeth who has not yet made an appearance.
The Black Orc Bogrod the Bloody, my famous AoD character who has lost all his matches. Snitgit the Sneaky, many may not know him, he appeared in one arena.
Thorek Ironbeard who made a short appearance in an arena. Ardritch who is yet to be beaten in single combat, not as good an achievement because he hasn't fought in one of these arenas.
My most recent army, containing Heinrich, the character I am making into my own special character. Seconded by the brutal CC monster Moratchi, who has killed anyone I sent him against in the first round excepting a Bloodthirster and Ardritch, dealing 5 wounds to the BT.
