Welcome to Librarium Online!
Whats a solid 2000pt list? I will probably be play mainly LM, but I want to have a chance versus the new books as well.
NO ONE has any advice to give?! Are you kidding me?!
Have you tried browsing the tk army list subforum? There are quite a few lists there that you could use. Depending n the thread, there are also good explanations as to why particular units were chosen. You could even search for TK lists involving LM.
it all depends on what your looking at, do you want a ranged defensive list?, a aggressive list with lots of charoits? it just depends do you have any minitures already or are you looking at buying some to start a new army amd want to know what to buy? Just need to elaborate on the question a bit more.
But what most poeple will say TK need alot of magic so stocking up on Lich Priests and a Tomb Prince/Kings is a good idea aswell. Large blocks of infentry will deffently help, because if they outnumber when they win they will auto-break the enemy which is good for LM's cold-blooded rule. Screaming Catapualts is one off the few ways TK's can deal with big nasty's (other than a Bone Gaint) so is good for things like Steg's and big blocks of infentry. Carrion are a good warmachine hunter and is good running down those pesky skinks.
Tomb Scorps, Ushabi and Charoits are all awsome units as well and give you some good hammer units and can plow through most things if used right. Although the Tomb Scorp is a good character hunter and is very good at killing mages (espeicaly Skink preists) so aim for units that have them in it.
Thats all for now but im sure more experience Kings have some ideas that can help

Your best bet is to look through lists and replies to them in order to determine what is solid
