    skellie bowmen at low numbers

    I got a question regarding a unit of 10-12 skeleton bowmen. what should i give them for command. I feel i should give up on the banner so the opponent does not get VP pts but is the champ and musician worth it? I will use this small group for anvils for my chariots as well, and to slow down enemy units heading for my battle line. so in that case should i just give them a full command?

    Well, I think I can speak for myself and several other TK players when I say full command isn't worth the points on your 10-12 man bowmen units. I don't even put more than a musician on my 20 man bowmen units.

    I would only consider the other command options if I needed a champ to protect a liche priest, or a standard for a magic banner or on a unit of HW/S skellies.

    Yeah, I really have never had the need for command groups in bowmen. If they get caught in close combat something has gone horribly wrong...or you can just rez them lol.

    Id never bother with any command in small archer units. The benefit of Champs is to reduce casualties in larger tarpit units, so they're useless. Standard... just no. And Music, which i always try and use in larger units, but small units will rarely be able to even pull a draw in combat so no real point there either.
