Had my first couple of games with the TK recently and i am in awe at the Fried Gold that is.......the Tomb Scorpion
3k versus lord Kroak, a slann, and an engine, the tomb Scorpions come up on turn 2 behing Kroaks unit of unbreakable temple guard and hold them there for FIVE TURNS!!!!
i would like to hear others uses, flukes and generally the awesomeness of others tomb scorpions, or indeed some awesome/shocking moments with TK in general!
in my first game my scorp popped third turn and held up his unit of black orcs with his general until turn 5 when my chariots ran through his orc boys on the charge and crushed the black orcs from behind. Scorp did amazingly well at holding it's own vs so many hits from the warboss and his entourage.

But i whiff!
They either dont come up for 3 Turns
Misfire, and become useless
or i whiff with there attacks every time
But i've been slightly SLIGHTLY lucky with gun lines. (Though, getting shot down by stuff with armour piercing is fairly common for me...)
gunlines are daft though. you tried deploying them instead of tunneling them?

I would kill one unit, and just be under charge range for another unit, of like crossbowmen etc...
you gotta prioritise. when i played dwarfs, he had a unit of crossbows on the hill and a bolt thrower. a unit of thunderers were in front of the thunderers. the main priority was the bolt thrower so i tunnelle one scorp roughly 3 inches away, to make sure whatever way or how far it scttered it would still get the charge.
with the crossbows (second priority), i had to either tunnel behind them hich was risky, or tunnel in front of the thunderers to take them out and hopefully overrun. i killed the thunderers in tw turns and the crossbowmen spent their turns trying toget away from it, meaing that they couldnt shoot, so even though i didnt kill them straight away i still stopped them shooting.
have you tried swarms too? they seldom kill much in the way of units of missile troops but they hold their ground, stopping them from shooting long enough for your chariots etc to smash them.
they are fantastic against gun crew, you only generally need to kill one to make them run, and theyre cheap!
