Hi everyone i am new to this game and i am wondering how do you use ICFB because i don't get how the Mishap Table works? If anyone can tell me how it works that would be awesome .
At the End of the deployment, set a marker for each and every unit that is hidden beneath the ground. This marker can be placed anywhere on the battlefield.
At the first round, these creatures can't emerge.
At the second round, you roll a die for each unit that is hidden. On a roll of 4+ it emerges (I will later on describe what happens then).
At the third turn, do the same. On a roll of 3+ it emerges.
At the fourth turn - 2+
At the fifth turn it emerges automatically.
When the unit emerges (could be a Scorp or a Tomb Swarm Unit) you will have to roll one scatter annd one artillery dice. These dice show how far and in which direction the unit will move. If a HIT is rolled, the unit emerges in place where it stands. If a Misfire (!) is rolled, you have to roll a normal D6 on the Mishap Table. You can find it in the TK Army book, just follow the instructions there.
Let's say that this unit successfully emerges. It will come up from where the marker was moved after the roll with DA and DS. It can now face any direction you want it to face. It can charge in the turn it emerges.
If the Unit emerges under an enemy Unit, it will engage in Combat.
Hope That Helps! Ask if it's not clear enough
I did not tell you about the Mishap Table... sorry! I will make an "Easy-to-Understand" guide:
Roll a D6.
If your result is 1-2:
The Unit will not emerge. It will be removed and will count as beaten/dead when counting Victory Points.
If your result is 3-4:
The Unit will not emerge. It will be removed but will not count as beaten/dead when counting on Victory Points.
If your result is 5-6:
The Unit WILL emerge. It will emerge wherever you opponent wants it to emerge on the Battlefield. It will sadly not be able to move that Movement Phase
That Does It! Finished, hehe

Yeah, Nagash pretty much nailed it.
Hmm... may have to consider handing over my LO TK crown soon, you seem to be jumping onto answers faster than me now!

I understand now thank you so much for the help Nagash and Phoenix, now i know how to use ICFB.
One thing that needs clarification is if you can choose not to emerge them?
Cos the army book isnt clear.
Iirc, if you decide to use ICFB then you MUST roll for them each turn, and if you roll high enough then they MUST come on that turn. Haven't checked that, but i (vaguely) recall looking it up before.
