Hello, i was wondering about the undead constuct special rule and scalely skin. The Tomb Scorpion has undead construct rule and that gives him a 5+ save could a hero or any type of unit with strength 4, 5, 6 negate its save where it has 6 or doesnt even get a save? Also shaggoth has a scalely skin of 4+ can that also be negated by high strength?
All answers are helpful to me so thank you for helping.
yes. only thing that arn't modified are ward saves/items like Collar of Shapesh
hey okay... So thats mean that for Wood Elfs their Treen Man have 3+ scaly skin, and the Tree Kin have a 4+ scaly . So thats means that they always have those armor saves, and that they can be come like 6+ armor saves. So that they would always stay the same no matter what? Cause if soo thats really good!!!!
ahh i see so they still get modified by high strengh except ward saves thank you sir for the help.
But alpex is if a tomb prince with great weapon hits your treeman u will have a 6+ save and if it was your tree kin it would have no save except for there ward saves.
Thats what Tcan_Dal'yth is trying to tell us.

Scaly skin saves are exactly like armour save and give the model a "natural" which can be modfied by mundane armour options i.e. a saurus oldblood had a 4+ scaly skin save, and with heavy armour it becomes a 2+ save
it also works for the Bone Giant, his undead construct save with heavy armour, giving him a 3+ save total
