Hmm... not seen anything like it before. Do a test skellie and get a pic up Then we can see if its a good idea or not
Is he even still alive? I swear the Red Skull has/had more lives than Jean Grey!
Maybe try Red Gore (or was it scab red. hmmm. one of them has too much purple.) over a black base coat. You can see that color on the weapons/poles of my skellies in my WIP. I think it is a pretty awesome color. Then maybe try a green for the shield/wraps with gold highlights. ( I think a green shield ith a burnished gold stripe down the middle would look good)
So, this is the basic run down (if this should be in the painting section, feel free to move)
A base coat of black
A coat (or several) of Red Gore
Devian Mud Wash
Blood Red dry brushing
What do you think? Should be simple enough...
And Jean Grey, at least she has an excuse (the whole, Dark Phoenix thing)? I think the real comparison should be Wolverine, now there is somebody who will never, ever die.
You could also make a good use of the Wash/Ink named Baahl Red It is very handy to use if you want to shade etc
