i play 3k games against my friends who use alot of horde type armies with little to no magic (other than that HE player)
i want to field settra and throw him into a unit of chariots with maybe a prince and IB?
i want the ultimate chariot unit that could overrun almost everytime
any ideas? the armies i face the most are
LM (kid loves Suarus warriors 3/4 of army maybe?)
Empire (cannons but i can avoid em most of the time)
HE (magic everywhere)
WE (he doesnt know how to play WE so this is easy)
WoC (tons of Warriors)

NOte: to phoenix: sorry for the language, and about teh WE player i have no idea how to play them but they are interesting to play against and im not doing this to be like over powered but my Opp. constantly use one "tank unit"
ex: WoC fields about 15 knights in one unit and puts all lords in it (completely demolishes anything) idk why he puts 15 but his choice

AVE SATANAS! TK 3k army (W/D/L)(2/1/0)
Wow you seem like a fun opponant... And please watch the language.
I'd be petrified of fielding Settra at any point cost due to his army's utter lack of magic defense. Then again, I play magic heavy opponents despite them being the same armies you play (aside from Chaos Warriors, which I also have some of but don't play).
Then there's the Icon Bearer...ugh. What a terrible Hero choice, but if you can make it work roll with it. I'd be interested to hear how you use him.
The Ultimate "Chariot Unit" is not a good choice For extreme Chariot usage, field them in groups of four and sync these with each other. In this way, you will get off more spells with Settra too
//Nagash, the Warpstone Consumer
Tomb Scorpion Kill Counter: Gotrek Gurnisson, Empire Cannon Crew=3, Blood Knights=2, Saurus Cavalry=5, Saurus Warriors=3, Razordons=3, Skink warriors=7, Jezzails=8, Poison Wind Globadiers=10, Warp Lightning Cannon=1
Hrm (after some thought)...it seems to me like a Settra led army really only gives your enemy one turn to shoot/magic you down before multiple Chariot units, Tomb Scorpions and Carrion are in your face. It's an extremely fragile, but exceedingly aggressive list which could be fun but very risky. I prefer to let my foot soliders get to the enemy first, but in a list like this Ushabti would probably really come into their own, hell maybe even the Bone Giant would.

actually enigmatik, u only have 2 DD. He casts incantations like a high priest (in addidition to his MWBD) however, he doesnt count as 1. It states that he does cast incantations in the same manner of high priests.
Sorry that this isnt any real advice, its just more of an FYI comment that had to be pointed out.
If you dont believe me, im also pretty sure something about its on the official FAQ
Ouch, you are correct. I don't need to go back and double check you, skele...I believe ya.
That's even worse. I may be fond of running offensively, but being defenseless is a bit much for me, I think. Still, I think there is some merit to running Settra, doing so would take me far outside of my comfort zone however.
Settra is powerful, no doubt about that... But he is hard to maneuvre since his giga chariot is not a Light Chariot
