Welcome to Librarium Online!
So I am making my Tomb king army and I have a question. On all the army lists I have seen there seem to be not alot of normal skeletons. I was thinking of getting two battalion boxes but now that seems like too many skellies (64). Is there a way to play tomb kings with alot of normal troops?
Most definately there is.
Check out the last post here by Chobham for a good example:

Although everyone plays their TK army a little differently from each other, you can certainly be effective with a big old foot slogger army if that's what floats your boat. Indeed, I would humbly suggest that this is by far the best (and easiest!) way to start off with a TK army since it emphasises all of the basic things we need to master before you move on to more demanding and complex (though not necessarily more effective!) strategies.
I think that should be exactly what you're looking for bud. Enjoy.
Because Sun Tzu would play Tomb Kings...
I would agree to Vallah in this matter: YES! You can really make such an Army, but I would highly recommend using at least Chariots for flanking

WiP TK Army!
Alright thank you all for the replies! I am wicked excited to make my tomb kings army! I think i'm going to get 1 battalion box, a hierophant mounted and on foot, a tomb king with gw, maybe some tomb guard, and 1-2 more skelly units!
To build a little bit off of what Vallah said.
The armies you see with the smaller numbers of skeletons are typically offensive armies designed with speed in mind. They are very fragile and a missed charge or a poor deployment can often ruin our plans, as TK armies rely heavily on units working together.
The footslogger armies are quite a bit slower but much more reliable and forgiving. The chariots you get in your battalion boxes are still an important hammer unit for you as Nagash stated.
