Welcome to Librarium Online!
Althealchemist here! I have a question for all of you TK players out there, what kind of conversions have you made to your models to make them more interesting. At one point I used a bunch of spare scorpion legs and glued them on to a casket priest so he looked like some kind of twisted creature formed by chaos. I'm sorry I don't have a picture for you because I couldn't really get the small figure to be visible enough on camera. Plus the camera on my computer is pretty crappy so it's hard to tell what the figure looks like. Well, anyway what kind of conversions have you made to your models?
I made a skeleton champion, with one of his arms being a Dryad Arm, and the other holding a whip.
It turned out pretty cool, but the arm has since broken, and i had to replace it with a normal skelley arm
I converted my snake LP to have a snake whip instead of the dagger and removed the blade from the staff so its just the snakes lower jaw.
My hand weapon/shield king has been converted to carry the Spear of Antarhak and a shield. Both of the are posted in this forum.
I converted the curvey spear TK to a Flail of Skulls.
I am also scratch building my casket and bone giant(who is 12" tall, dwarfs a reg giant, and can drive a chariot between his legs). The casket may or may not light up when I am done. Also thought about dry ice fog escaping the lid.
For the greater good, my will be done!
Tau- 4k~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tomb Kings- 2.5k
Thousand Sons- 1850 ~~~~~Night Goblins- 900
Well, I use to give my Heroes items that I use to give them in game For example: My Hierophant uses the infamous Cloak of the Dunes

WiP TK Army!
Not a conversion as such but I use a D&D Giant Celestial Stag Beetle (usually on ebay) as an alternative to a Scorpion. It's like a Giant Scarab Beetle and looks good mounted on a Tomb Swarm base (a big beetle with all its little friends).
So I have a Scorpion on one flank and a giant beetle on the other
Haha, nice Casket Outbreak! Great use of the random BFSP Cart right?
As for me, mine can be found in my Profile pic album:
Including a couple of heavily filed down scorpion rear ends, and my Kings Chariot (with slight non-battle damage )
dont have a picture but for my champion for my unit of skeleton spearmen i used the standard arm with the pole but put a sword top from the bowmen command(the one thats beside all the bows on the plastic,i put his shield on his back and had him standing on a shield thats painted diffrently than mine so it looks like my army wiped out an opposing TK army(me wipe someone out??lol)and gave him the head with the helmet(all other skellies have bare heads
Proud soldiers and faithfull followers of there king ... i doubt any champion of the tomb king would wanne be cought dead wearing a other armies armor ...
These are the elite troops of the king ... they where a impressive bunch to look at anyways ... i never understood the bare skulls tbh .. i made sure they all look the part of beeing the elite force they are.
but thats my 0,02 cents
