Hey guys, I posted a magic heavy 2000 pt list yesterday and was wondering if I could get some feedback on it. Here is the origional post.
Hello all, I have developed a magic heavy TK list and would gladly take any feedback. Let me know what works and what is an epic fail. Also does anyone know of any good/stupendous character builds for TK? Thanks
Here is what ive got:
Tomb King w/ great weapon
- Armour of Ages, Brooch 236
Liche Priest - Heirophant
-cloak of dunes, Jar 165
- skeletal steed, staff of ravening 168
- casket of souls, collar of shapesh 305
16 Warriors w/ bows 128
3 Chariots w/ champ 160
3 Chariots w/ champ 160
5 Light Horsemen 70
19 Tomb Guard w/ standard bearer
-Banner of Undying Legion 153
3 Ushabti 195
3 Carrion 72
Tomb Scorpion 85
Total = 1997 pts.
All said and done, between the King, three Liche Priest's, two bound spells, and the casket, it comes out to 10d6 + 7 in the magic phase and 5 dispell dice, plus essentialy two dispell scrolls. So what is the overall verdict? Thanks guys.

i dont see any fails in this list. Very diverse. so it will all come down to some lucky deployments and good maneuvering during the battle.
Thats what i think
your lord seems a bit wimpy though hehehe
Warchief Diggah o da Bloodmoon Squiggahs
If you can, you gotta give your king a DoE, and collar of shapesh.
Also you have a lot of incantations?
Why no catapult? That is one of the best uses for incantations! PUT ONE IN THERE!
Don't use Collar of Shapesh with the Priest. If he gets into combat, he will die wether you want it or not... This will only make him cost 25 points more
Why champ with the Chariots? It usually sucks, to be honest Afford one additional Chariot for these points, it will give you 4 Attacks, 3 Wounds, and a nice charge bonus D3 S4 hits extra, instead of the otherwise bonus of 2 Attacks (for the Champs) and ability to accept challenges.
If you use Carrions, have a unit of 5 is my recommendation. Otherwise, switch this unit for a Scorp!
You could erase one of the Chariot units (the one that doesn't make it to 4 models). Use these points to increase the number of Bowmen in the Skellie unit. Use these points to improve/increase whatever you can find useful (might be the Ushabtis too, or more items to the King)
Hope it gives you some ideas of what to do!
