This is the start of a new series, that will hopefully bring new ideas and tactics to the forums. Each week, a new topic will be posted up about a different unit in the army book. This gives you your chance to discuss the unit to its fullest. So, please leave your comment!
This week's topic is - Chariots
How many do you use per unit? Are the command options worth it? How do you use them?
I will use units of 3 chariots, or sometimes units of 4, with one of them being a prince.
I buy only banners for extra Combat rez, and magic banners.
They are the ultimate flankers of our army being so mobile as they are fast cav...it allows a lot of rather evil movement actions.
My only dislike of them is STR7 which really isnt there fault, but just rulebook rule
Some armies have easy access to that, and i really don't like having to avoid parts of the army. (Examples Vampire/Blood Knights, Any Warmachine, Scar Vets/Oldbloods with greatweapons)
three of them. naked. Sometimes with a king who's toting the healing spear, scorpion armor or armor of the ages (5-wound king with pseudo-regeneration? Beastly!), and the eye. When the king's not dismounted with DoE.
