Looking at a thread on another site, I came across these pictures of old eldar exarchs. Their weapons seem ripe for conversions for a flail of skulls.
Just thought I'd share with you all.
Even better - if you know a friend who collects Dark Elves - the warrior sprue contains a skull on a chain that is an optional addition for Banners. I've not seen them used often which means a fair few will be sat on sprues looking sad.
Fantasy: Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Beastmen and Tomb Kings.
LotR: Misty Mountains and Rohan
It's indeed some skulls on a flail, but I don't like them personally. They seem too unreal You could do something like I did, just check my WiP Thread (found in my sig).
Yeah, I know... I feel bad because I haven't updated it in a very long time
You're right, of course. It looks a little bit off (partly due to the stiffness of the chain), but I felt that I should show it. When I saw the pictures my mind went straight to tomb kings.
That's nice enough...but what I've always coveted is a prince armed with the crook and flail of radiance.

.... my prince with a flail is quite the mess.... a TK skull, an empire chest armor, dark elf chain pants from some random model, flail from what I want to say was... empire? not sure but I cut off the end and put a skull, as well as put an additional chain on it and another skull, and then cut off skele hands so i could green stuff the flail on the end of skeleton arms... maybe I will take a picture, but it's ugly, so sorry in advance. XD
oh and my conversion to share with you all! I cut apart 4 banners, and made 2 spiked wheels out of them for chariots, or a shield which looks equally as cool!
....now if I could only paint well....
