I used a unit of Scarabs the other day and was very... well... disappointed... I was planning on using them to be warmachine eaters, but the opponent blocked them with a row of Thunderers so I thought Id just charge the thunderers and at least keep them busy for a few turns. This wasnt the case... I think I only inflicted like 1 wound and he wiped out my entire unit of Scarabs. My questions is, was i using them wrong? Whats the best way to use them? Or should they just be left off the board?
Tomb swarms, as other swarms, are made to be speed bumps ... Hitting a opponent in the flank or rear as it being attacked from the front, tripping fast cavalry, munching on missile troops, and pulling down a lone wizard.
If you're looking for warmachine hunters, stalkers, carrion, and tomb scorpions are your units ... though carrion are a bit more reliable.
