I can't say I am a big fan. I think they look good but I love the metal ones. It's the weight that I love. I just bought 3 Ushabti and I may get 3 more before the finecast ones come out. I do have to say they look awesome I just will miss the weight.

    You'd better hurry then....

They may not have metal stock left much longer.

And do you really want to pay more?

If this is the way things are going - bring it on. 3 for thirty quid is not a bad deal.

There was a review of the GK draigo model ealier today from kirby's blog... they're exactly the same as metal models detail-wise, but on sprues and with more flash. And apparently they smell a bit odd.

The only reason finecast is good is for the above reason mentioned - ushabti 3 for 30 in a box. I believe Treekin are getting the same thing *dances* BEcause those were pretty heft lumps of metal that wouldn't stay together without a good pinning and still broke off sometimes. Resiplastic should make them much easier to assemble and stay together!

A question for everyone who says they will miss the weight: do you not have to transport your models at all?

I'll definately be getting some Usbhati. I also like the look of the new Liche priest.

My exact thoughts when I saw that priest too. Awful. He even looks like he's holding a great weapon....why?? Why not give him a nice looking wizard's staff? Pretty disappointed on this one.

Completely agree hes worse than the old ones and they were pretty bad to start with! Quite an impressive feat if you think about it =P He would make an excellent wizard vampire bloodline model (forgot the name) but then tomb king hate vampires (as do i =P) so why make a tomb king model with FANGS
