I'm new to TK and was just wondering what unit sizes are ideal for our Core units?
I've been thinking of running 29 Archers as a bunker for my LHP, a unit of 19 Archers as a bunker for a lvl 2 LP, and a unit of 39 HW&S warriors to shove a Prince in. Also a unit of 6 Horse Archers with musician, and a unit of 6 Chariots with full command and the Flaming Attacks banner.
What are your thoughts on these unit sizes?
Thanks in advance!
The archer units might be a tad bit large, maybe cut ten from each.Originally Posted by Zen2105
39 hw/sh skellies with a prince is great! I take one of those per thousand points, most of the time.
I don't use horse archers, so I can't comment on that.
The chariot block is too big. Take two units of four instead.

Would it be worth taking 2 units of 24 Archers with the Priests in them? Allows a few more wounds before they loose a bit of their effectiveness?
Also would one unit of 4 chariots be worth running, or are the two units really needed?
Thanks again mate!
Well, I generally run 20 archers with my hiero, and 10 with my secondary priest, but I don't consider their shooting to be a meaningful contribution to the fight, I just give them bows because it gives them something to do while standing around. I wouldn't make the units large just to have more wounds, ten is usually plenty. But if you're expecting useful shooting from them, 2 units of 24 is the best breakdown.
Yes, a single squadron of chariots is fine, I only use one unit of four myself.
