This is a thread I will use to update my progress of my personal Tomb King army.
So far I have painted - 20 archers, 16 warriors, 2 Tomb Kings , 1 Liche priest, Casket of souls
To paint - 3 chariots, necroshpinx, 3 archers (lol random), 37 warriors ( lol random ), 10 tomb guard, 10 horse archers, 2 necrotect.
IMG_0066.jpgarchers with liche ( need final hilights but I will do that when the other remaining archers are painted )
IMG_0065.jpgWarriors ( again need hilight but I will do all the hilights when all are painted up from priming )
IMG_0067.jpgTomb King #1 (finecast )
IMG_0096.jpgTomb King #2 (plastic)

I'll be updating this thread everytime I paint something new !
Okay so I have made some slow progress because I am currently stripping and fixing some old orcs and gobbo's I used to collect when I was a kid but I made my way round to painting some more of my tomb kings last night ! 10 tomb guard with full command, soon to be made bigger, tell me what you think... The idea is that they had teal armor but all of the time under the ground or in tombs has scratched off the surface paint showing through the gold. Also I decided on doing some small object source lighting to create a contrast between living and dead, showing that they are undead, old but invigorated by new magic with new life !
Very impressive object source lighting on your TG. Everything here is good, but those are easily my favorites.

Thankyou i need to do some object source on my casket aswell my core units still need alot of hilighting definitely, just trying to get the tabletop standard first, hate playing with primed models !
The jury-still-out on your tomb guard ( unfinished ? ), but love the bone color, and the tone of red you used .
hehe they aint even seen a single hilight yet ^.^ base coated and washed, they look a little highlighted because I used a watery base coat over a white primer, but still a long way to go for them, working on painting up my new editions to my army including my necrosphinx before I finish my warriors and archers.
