I would like to know what you people think.

You have to think of which unit you think works best with the Tomb kings army.
So not just on his own.
But as a model which can help your army.

Also say which character you think is best if you chose that one.

i think the chariots are most devastating. they can be set up to be extremely deadly flankers. throw your kings and princes in chariots and they can be unit killers, by charging and inflicting enough wounds to crush the target. characters can also upgrade chariots to become even more godly.

next in line would be the catapult. 1 wound panic at a -1 Ld, send weak troops fleeing, and dent up heavy attackers.

you shouldve put the casket in there too.

Voted Ushabti. They're great looking models, great leadership makes sure they don't take too many wounds if your heirophant is dead, great WS and S and they have a 5+ AS to boot. Can't go past them IMO!

Tomb scorpian is undoubtably the best thing for me. When using it it came from below rule it is one of the most effective in the army, and posion attacks and killing blow, this is a quality model.
In the end there is only war.

Scorpion, for all the reasons Kraktor said. It's also hard, has a lot of wounds, and is FAST.

Ushabti are cool, but are very expensive, easy to flank, and well, aren't scorpions ^_^

I had to vote for the catapult, it can pelt enemy units with 2 shots a turn if you use smiting (& why not), & against lower leadership armies they are invaluable.

Ive not had the chance to test a scorpion yet, but from what i gather they are pretty useful, i just have my prejudices against "It came from below"

i agree with you immeyournot.

They are really good against all armies.
Also because of armour-save negating.
And the panic test

And I play against lots of dwarfs.(slow->lots of shots->lots of kills)

For this I have voted for the humble skeleton warriors. I would also like to say armed with bows.
I know you are all probably thinking I am completely mad at this point as they are crap, which they are individually. BUT one of the things Zephyro said was not based on the individual unit but on how they help the army.
I think the skeletons are essential for almost every tomb king army and without them alot of the plans wouldnt work. Reading through the different forums I have seen different people say they use the skeleton archers to defend their casket and their screaming skull catapults. Also the ability to shot the enemy as they advance, heal then form into solid blocks to take the charge of the enemy is how I intend to use all my archers.
Without the skeletons facing the enemy on the front there isn't the oppurtunity to get off the flank charges that we require with all our other units.

Individual I rate units like the tomb scorpion and the ushabti much higher than the skeletons and the models are brilliant, but I feel the skeletons give the best benefit to the army.
