    1000 point Games

Is it just me, or do tomb kings suffer in lower point games?

I've gota friendly tourny with some friends in a couple of days, and Im having a lot of trouble comming up with a sutable army list.

Do any of you bother with rare unit choices in lower point games, or go for more troops?

I have a limmited selections of models at my disposal, and I'm not sure if I'm gona need any of the more expensive units or not.

    Help a Tomb Prince out!

OK, don't worry. I'm very happy with my various lists for TK. (I now have 3 seperate lists that serve me well for different purposes.)
Go with either 2/3 special or 1/2 and a rare. Basically splash on the points with the cool units. Tomb Scorpians and Carrion are really good in small point games. Don't worry if you only have a few core.

Yes, Tomb Kings suffer in lower point games. This is because the army needs two characters, so not a lot is left over for troops. And the magic of just a prince and a priest isn't impossible to stop.

I agree with Aegir, scorpions and carrion are pretty useful. I'd probably take one or the other, not both though. Chariots are good, since not much opponent stuff is at high strength. Unfortunately they count as special in those lower point games though.. A unit of 10 archers is good not only for filling a core choice cheaply but to act as a screen and get a few shots off.

It came from below for teh win!

Final list for the 1000 point game was:

Tomb Prince w/ Charriot of Fire, Great weapon la+shield, Icon of Rulership
Lich Priest w/ Weiratic Jar + Cloak of the winds
2X Units of 10 Skeleton Warriors
    2 Tomb swarm
    1 Tomb Scorpion
14 Tomb Guard w/ Champion + Standard bearer, Banner of Undying leagion
    1 Screaming Skull Catapult

Went 5-0 vs Empire, High elves, and Dwarves.

Its good to be dead! Er... Undead.

Now I gota come up with a 500pnt warbands list for next time.
