I narrowly lost for the first time yesterday, all down, IMO, to one spell - Comet of Casandora.
I had tooled up with Dispels, had 3 priests in 2250 pts, the hierophant with a Golden Ankhra and was busily winning for 3 turns against my Lizardman opponent. Then he gets irresistable force on that spell and takes out 2 priests, half a unit of skeletons and a chariot. I then face the rest of the game with just the hierophant and TK so cannot control the magic phase. He has already tooled his saurus up[ with immunity to psychology, so I had a game on to start with, but was still winning till that went off. It was cast at will pretty much after turn three, but I am pleased that he only got a minor victory!!! (I said I WAS winning for 3 turns).
So, what do you think is the worst spell your opponent can use vs TK and why?
Also, how do you defend against these TK killers?
Any spells that remain in play hurt TK pretty badly, since we have very little chance of stopping them in subsequent turns.. High Elves have an item that switches one of your power dice to be one of their dispel every turn, if they take that and get of any RiP spells it is literally impossible to stop them unless you have that item, but it only works once per game.
