Is it true Tomb Kings with bows do not suffer any penalties/bonuses to do with shooting? Or is it just with moving and shooting?
if i am correct but dont quote me on this because i havent played for ages but i think that it is they hit on a 5+ regardless of anything but please verify this please those member who have a better knowledge of it
I also believe this to be correct. It will be in the army book
"God is dead" Nietzsche- 1886
"Nietzsche is dead" God- 1900
Why are there scams? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q71FLDIMBc8
Yeah i can confirm this is correct.
My chameleon skinks in a wood are usually -3 to -5 to hit, not for those pesky undead archers...
Yeah, skinks were the reason for this Q.
Yep. The Arrows of the Asp rule is, unlike often thought, not "Always hits on a 5+", but rather "no modifiers of any kind". In practice it is the former, though, due to all Bs-based TK shooters (Skeleton Warriors and Bone Giants) being Bs2. But, if you gave a bow to a Bs4 Prince, for example... (not sure if he has the rule)
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD
i never knew a prince could have a bow and id like to know how long Bone Giants have been shooting for because only skeletons, tomb guards and charecters have bs stats that would mean they could use some form of bow although to my knowledge only warriors and light horsemen have the ability to use a bow but i maybe mistaken and over looked something during my looking through the army book
There are trial rules for bone giant weapons, and one of them is a giant bow IIRC.. In most games its only skellies, and light horseman. Don't forget your 2 bow shots from each chariot though.
And yeah, they always hit on 5's.
A friend of mine is a seasoned TK player and he has only ever fired one from each chariot, have we both missed something glaringly obvious? Like are the warriors and the driver both armed with bows??Originally Posted by strewart
