I'm looking at starting a tomb kings army after the less than spectacular performance of my high elves  . If anyone out there could give me some info on what the tomb kings are like that would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Be carefull and plan you'r battles ahead the Tomb kings ain't a very forgiving army... make it as tactically flexible as you think you need it to be. And don't think that you can just send you'r chariots smashing through enemy ranks so bide you'r time and then send the chariots in the flank of an enemy unit, then you should do well.

P.S have at least two liche priests so that you really can do get of alot off spells even though every one gets of since they work like bound spell items with a power level of 2d6.

I'm starting a tomb kings army as well, I have been out and brought a Tomb King in a chariot, but I will use him as my Tomb Prince. In a few days I will by the battalion box set, with 32 skeltons, 3 chariots and 8 horsemen, and most probably a blista of liche priest.

I believe this to be enough of a force, in the long run I plan to get the Casket of Souls and three bone giants. The unstoppable assult rule just kick ass, I mean just think of all the wee men it will kill on a charge.

i thought than in 2000 point armies you can only have 2 rares. So that would make it 2 bone giants, still nothing to laugh at. Also I would use a unit of 3-5 Ushabti they are awsome units.

Well yes bone giant are rarre but Ushabti are special so you can take both as in a 2000pt battle you can have 0-2 rare and 0-2 special I think, but i will have to check the army book.

The other day I played my friend, we had a 1000pt lord a hero battle. We could chose 1 lord and up to 4 heroes that could not exceed 1000pts, here waht I picked.

    Tomb King
    Chariot
    Fail of Skull
    Armour of Ages
    Sheild of PTRA

    Tomb Prince
    Chariot
    Great Weapon
    Chariot of Fire
    Golden Eye of Rah-Nutt
    Light Amour
    Shield

    Liche Priest
    Cape of Dunes
    Dispell Scroll

    Liche Priest
    Cape of Dunes
    Hieratic Jar

    Liche Priest
    Mounted
    Staff of Ravening

total pt were 999, I was against a Vampire counts army, a chaos army and a high elve army. The high elves won and didn't lose one character, I wounded a few but his magic was too powerful, though he didn't caste any fire magic on me.
