Well, I have quickly found it seems likely I will need at least 2 Liche Priests in my army, and as GW only make one, I was wondering what alternative models/conversions people used. Please post pics if poss!
the mountedone is easily converted, just cot it at the waist and use the legs from a tomb guard. also the priest from the casket of souls looks nice, just need 2 put it on a base.
I have also seen the classic bretonnian damsel used, lookd good
A guy at my store uses the Khalida model as a Liche Priest, it works as long as your opponent knows what it is.
I've begun to suspect that Reaper makes what some would call "knock offs" for other games. they are cheaper by far, and sometimes look much nicer. Just a theory though.(I've found many demons and the such that match D&D descriptions, but with different names.) I bought their skeletal giant, who comes with khopesh type swords, and is twice the height of the GW bone giant, for HALF the cost. It comes alot closer to matching the fluff pictures this way.
And as for the liche priests... I also found a nice reaper one who is all cloaked up. Sorry, I don't know how to find him though.
