Welcome to Librarium Online!
If you ask me, i think i have a nice force as it is.. though ive had the nagging voice at the back of my mind telling me its time to expand my army.. the question though is im not sure what else to get. At the momment what i have are, 1 Tomb King, 1 Casket of Souls, 1 Liche Priest on foot, 1 liche priest mounted, 1 Tomb Queen Khalita, 40 or so Skeleton's with handweapons/shields, 20 or so Skeletons with bows. 8 heavy horsemen, 3 chariots, 3 Ushabti, 4 tomb swarms, 1 Scorpion and, 1 Bone Giant.. So.. anyone have some advice?
Oh.. but i dont look so good with all those.. tentaclly things..
If you do decide to expand I think you should definatly get another scorpion, at least one more unit of chariots and a catapult. A Tomb King/Prince in a chariot wouldn't go amiss either.
Screaming Skull Catpult. Best unit in the army
Im not sure about best in the army, but definatly take one.
Carrion. Good for march blocking, warmachine killing and catching unit that flee from fear.
More dependable for getting "there" faster than the scorpion with a 20" move and able to take a little damage with 4 toughness and 2 wounds. I usually field 5 or 6 and have never been let down when I use them properly.
That being said, another scorpion, more chariots and one or two catapults is a fine idea.
I definitely agree with Palos on the carrion, they are a great unit.
Beyond that, more chariots and a catapult would be my frst choice. There is nothing better than making a fully ranked up unit flee of the table in the first turn from a lucky catapult shot.
Scorpion- never too many of them. Catapult is also a good one. Depends on your play-style, you can also add few more chariots.
And the ground did tremble, as the king marched to war...
Lucky shots for certain. I whacked a level 4 High Elf Mage with a screaming skull who was hiding in a unit of Dragon Princes, missed his "lookout"(rolled a one?) and splat!
My opponent wanted to concede.
There are great knight killers too. I have yet to understand why my opponents never field their own stone throwers.
2 of the 10 man Tomb Guard boxes and a command blister wouldn't go to waste either. The TG models are really nice and they are fairly useful vs. some armies.
