My Hormagants Speed List(s)

The theme of this army is to use 75 Hormagants in a 'speed' focused list (no heavy support).

I have 2 variations to it, and I will be using these lists to battle Necrons on tuesday for the planet diplomacy campaign.

So what do you guys think? Ideas? Comments? Suggestions?

I prefer the look of your first list. I wonder if maybe some leaping warriors wouldn't do well in one of the lists though, give them extended carapace, and have them run as a more sturdy source of synapse for your hormies. It's a bit tough though, the ravenors are really attractive as some extra hitting power, but I feel more numerous Hormagaunts would serve you better.

Yeah i considered hormagants as elites with EC but the thing is that Destroyers would completely chew through them with their S6 AP4 weaponry.

So i figured wings are more effective since i can fly them near area terrain and then run them in there for a 4+ cover save and not really lose much speed.

I was actually thinking of the Warriors instead of that walking tyrant which seems like it will be swiftly left behind. Though really the Tyrant and Guard will be hideously difficult for a Necron army to kill.
