wow 15 shots man that pretty bad I've seen worse with other units. I have a friend who was taking 8 2+ armour save with only8 guys and he failed them all the odd to that are like... *counts on fingers then grabs calculator* 1/1679616 :eek: . But I have had a zoanthrope do a lot to me and sen it do stuff to friends.

I failed to glance a IG Chimaera with 3 thropes. I passed all the psychic tests. 1 missed and i rolled double 1's for my AV-AP roll.

So yeah, thropes can't hit anything. They only way they seem to be able to hit something, is if you group them, and they all fire at the same thing simultaneously

Bugger. I was going to have 3 Zoans and two big Carnis (everyone probably knows about this by now). Anyway, I was playing a paper game (pathetic, I know) and I took 3 Zoanthropes. They wiped out 10 Firewarriors in one turn! Not bad, eh? Then, they went for the Hammerhead, one hit, penetrated, stunned....

No no no! Zoanthropes are great.

That is, if you get them to -ld from the opponent.

Or, for some reason, if you get them into combat.

I just played against nids. The zoanthrope shot twice in the game, S10 at my skimmers, both were miss. Not surprising at all.

Now, proxy zoanthropes, I guess, might be a little better.

Make that a lot better.

I mean, penetrating a tank that you (normally) can't penetrate.

hm... my zoans are great!... they kill much more pts that they cost... every time I play against a SM player, one zoan kills on a avarage of 6 SM with just WBlast... about 1 or 2 in CC.
The AP1 shoot mostly kills of most tanks within range.
With 3 zoans I get an avarage hit rate of 1-2 shots each turn, sometimes all 3 hit and sometimes all misses... but that's very rare to me. I odn't know maybe I get lucky with my dice or something but to me zoans kills very good and are good at taking shoots.

I would sacrifice my concentrated warp blast for enhanced senses. the s10 blast aint worth it if it doesnt hit. I would much rather keep my zoans away from those nasty ap2 tanks and shove that template and armour save on top of an enemy unit.

AP1??? Warp Blast have two options..... 24" S5 AP3 Assault1, blast and 18" S10 AP2 Assault1

But as I can see they don't shhot THAT bad BS3 makes it hit on a 4+, which is standard for most shooty models IMO, so I would say it is only bad luck that you guys can't hit with it, but then again I haven't tried them myself, but in theory they aren't THAT bad shooters as you makes them
