unfortunately they are the least lucky model in almost every army
I think a great bumper sticker would be as follows:
Proud parent of a child whose self-confidence is good enough that he doesn't need me advertising his minor scholastic achievements on my carclick me
I've seen Zoan's rip through Cron's, it was awesome on both sides. I love those things...
Sig by:Knape, The Celestial, and Marlinspike, thanks guys!
I love zoanthropes. They're aren't all about warp blast. It's an expensive model if that's your main reason for taking them. They are overall helpful models.

Abaddon claims Horus to have been weak, that he had a chance to slay the Emperor, and failed. But he forgets who our founder is, who his father is! Horus began the havoc on the Imperium on which we continue. Tonight we shall spill the blood of the emperor on his golden throne for Horus! Because in the end, CHAOS WILL PREVAIL!
I'm actually convinced that it's not the Zoanthropes, but Warp Blast, that is hugely unlucky. Even with a Hive Tyrant, I've never managed to do much with it (I'm to a point where I often opt to take other, less expensive powers that are more generally useful against the enemies I fight).
I'd rather take a brood of Biovores, in general, than Zoanthropes (but then, I have a lucky scatter die that rolls 10 hits for every 5 misses), but in certain game types, Zoanthropes make a great soaker choice with Warp Field, Psychic Scream, and a single one with Synapse. Especially if you can get them in range of a Space Marine Force Commander.
My zoanthropes miss whenever i use the warp blast with the strngth 5, but i never miss with strength ten. I POP MARINES!!!! POP POP POP!!!!!! And tanks. Cuase i always miss with big one so i use concentrated. Better to pop 1 then miss them all. And tanks. Plus i love zoans in cc. If your stealers are on the other side of the field, send a zoan in to tie them up. And laugh as they do nothing to it!!!
Back from a long adventure.
Ive done pretty well with 'thropes generally. In my last 2 games, these babies have popped a dread, 2 predators, 5 termies, 7 assault marines and 7 normal marines. and immobilised a land raider. and theyve taken zero casualties.
Hive Fleet Fuzzy Bunny: Lots and lots of points of Nids (4000pts+)
The Chapter of the Damned: 5500pts of Dark Angels
The Children of Fulgrim: 5-6000pts of Emperors Children
The Kabal of the Bloodied Claw: 2000pts of Dark Eldar
In most of the games I've played recently, my zoanthropes have done little to nothing in games other than to keep gaunts in check and to prevent my necron opponent form using his monolith. A zoanthrope a game keeps the monolith away I guessBut they tend to miss all there shooting.
learning new things every day
well its not like i dont like my thropes being they are the only thing that shoots in my army. they hot maby once every other game and when they do they make thier points back so its alright
Hey dude, don't be necrolizing stuff 2 months old without adding something really prolific to the topic.
