If you haven't heard, zoanthrope's can't shoot anymore. I've heard plenty of stories, and witnessed it in real life.

I got absolutely slaughtered by tyranids one game, but the zoanthrope only got 1 hit the whole game.

Post crazy zoanthrope missing stories here!

Yeah, in the shooting phase.

These things in combat on the other hand seem much more capable of headbutting or whatever it is they do.

I find too unreliable to field with the warp blast, I would rather give the the Psychic Scream and Synapse, and use them to soak up enemy fire, with those cumulative -1 to Ld, they'll shoot thier bolters at somthing completely cheap with a 2+ save, saves the other critters from taking heavy casualties.

For some reason the last things my zoas killed were two plaguemarines - in close combat.

Mine were such bad shots they managed to scatter their Warp Blasts into my Genestealers. :huh:

The Hive Mind has reintegrated their biomass as gaunts. Atleast this way they stand a chance at killing a Rhino.

i have the same problem i field 2 zans and maby hit 2twice per game and when i do hit i cant wound even with a powered up blast. :eek:

Last time I played with them, they were such bad shots that they missed the ground when I chucked them in fustration.
