Once again it was a fantastic meet up and an awesome weekend. List of attendies: Toastee Kuffy Stonehambey Sir Theo Karatrararalalais (Karrot) Riptor Slipknot Kaiser Danjones Karmoon FlayedOne Dan1986 Arklite Swntzu Kitch Da Mighty Camel Silas Silas' friend Rork Franksi Minus-t Wolf Lord Herby I think thats the overall list of attendies... but if I've missed anyone, please post and I'll add you to the list I believe one or two people might be writing reports, but not sure who... if you were there all weekend, please feel free to write up a detailed report and I'll add a link to it in this thread. As for pictures, some have already started to go up, and more will be added over the week. Pitcures: Kuffeh/LO Meet 2008 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Again, I feel that this years LO Meet was a success and highly enjoyable. 22 people showed up to this years, continuing with the yearly increase of attendies. It may only have been by one, but when you take into account that between 8 to 12 members sadly couldn't make it for various reasons, the overall number could have been up to, and maybe even over 30! O_O The big game did actually go ahead in the end, all be it just standard 4th Ed, and fairly hashed together, but that aside, it went really well, and I think that some people are already looking forward to next years big 40k battle. The raffle this year (Which thanks to Karrot for helping me out with prizes went ahead) was also a big success. The raffle pays for itself, and the more people put in, the more (And better) prizes I can buy. Thank you to all those who took part in this years raffle, as you helped make sure that there was a nice spread of prizes to be won. (Just make sure that Danjones doesn't forget that the booby prize will be named after him next year ) Arklite Booby Prize (Pot of Vomit Brown) - Minus-t Inquisitor keyring - Danjones Eldar keyring - Rork Khorne pinbadge - Karrot Bugman mini - Karrot Bugmans T-Shirt - Danjones £5 Gift voucher - Kitch £5 Gift voucher - Arklite £10 Gift voucher - Danjones £20 Gift voucher - Stonehambey All in all it was another LO Meet made totally of Awesome, and I look forward to seeing you all again for next years. As for next year, the date I have down at the minute is for the last weekend of July, 2009 but I will confirm that for you later on this week. In closing I would just like to say again, a big thank you to all of you who came this year. I hope you enjoyed the weekend and I look forward to next years meet already. Toastee

Excellent meet again, its a bit of a shame I was recovering from a cold so I didnt stay out late with the rest of you in the evenings...must be getting old....I will put in a better show next year. It was nice to meet you all again, or for the first time as the case may be, and i'm already looking forward to next year. Oh and we will win the big game next year- Team Good FTW!

Arr. T'was great fun. Well worth the troublesome trip across the North Sea even if it turned out to be bit extra costly in the end(Airports - don't you just love them.? >_<). Next year, I'll accually make an attemt at remembering who's who, because 95% of the time, I wasn't sure who I was talking too. Might be an idea for next to form a circle each morning and introduce ourselves, since unlike alot of you, I didn't have the experience of meeting everyone the year before... or the year before that. Either way, I had some great fun. Many thanks to Toastee for organising it all. Had a blast, even though I might not have looked like it all the time. :>

Now Kaiser not knowing who people are is at least 50 % of the fun and, you know, now you've been you won't be wanting all the introductions next time. There has to be something to make newbies feel intimidated and unwelcome after all. I mean we are a gaming community. ![]() Jk. In case you missed that. |

Now, if I would have been intimidated that easily, would I really have chosen Kaiser as my nickname? Rather, more confused than intimidated.
