Ive been checking hotels in Nottingham that weekend and its gonna cost around £120 for the weekend in a decent hotel. Im gonna book my room in a couple of weeks. I will travel up on the Friday morning and go back on the Sunday. Im already forward to it! Still unsure I should a new army or not. I do like the idea of Chaos 'counts as' Grey Knights. By the way my house was robbed last week and loads of my stuff was stolen inc my laptop! So sorry i didnt enter the painting contest kuffy!

Cheer for that Borak. I do need to start thinking about this, I will do some checking over the weekend for three or so hotels we can use. Robbed? Dude didn't this happen to you a year ago or something? Still, sorry to hear and I hope you can still make it.

Bring back the deportation for burglars I say. Its not at all harsh if you dont go out burgling peoples houses. Hope the insurance people do right by you Boomer, and to be fair to them in my experience they have been great. As soon as hotel details are up, I'm booking. And I hav'nt forgotten your Orky bits Kuffy, I have all the packing stuff and will get them off ASAP.

Just a thought for an Apocalypse battle...... I intend bringing everything my marines can put in the field, something over 12,000 points, not brilliantly painted but good enough to put on the table. It would make a suitable force for team LO to take on team Jones, and look impressive from a distance, all being from the same force. But would people be interested in playing with someone else's army ? Also, you would need a general - I have no illusions about my lack of savvy on the battlefield - something to think about.

The Apocalypse game I took part in last year was great fun, even if my contingent got slaughtered, and the thought of seeing all one side being from the same army has got to be worth a look. Whats your opinion General Kuffy ? The only downside about last years battle was Eldar, Chaos as blood Angels, and daemons all fighting on the same side !

If we go with this, we would need to start a new thread to list the army choices, suggestions on whats lacking, whose going to command which models, etc. Sounds fun in its own right.
