    LO Meet Details

Right, now for the more set in stone details not that I have decided I want to go and do this

    Information regarding the hotel(s)
    - The main hotel:
Travel Inn – Nottingham City South.
This hotel is the cheaper of the two at Castle Marina, and it is advised that you try to book this one due to its cost at the minute being £55 per night.
    http://www.premiertravelinn.com/pti/...?hotelId=23913

(If the link becomes invalid, go to the main Travel In website, and search for Nottingham City South, Castle Marina.)

    -The back-up hotel:
Holiday Inn – Nottingham Castle Marina
This isn’t the cheapest, and sports a whopping £79 per night; however, I’m fairly certain this is also a pay-per-room hotel, despite its cost.
I would only recommend this one if rooms in the Travel Inn become fully booked.
    http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hd/notuk

Now, the important part of the hotel information. You and you alone are responsible for booking your room. It’s also advisable to double up with someone, whether it’s a twin room or a double (The beds are big, and you can always top and tail.) The reason you take this advice, is that you pay per room, so for example:

2 adults for 2 nights maybe be about £110 (£160 is you choose to stay for the Sunday night)

So one guy would pay half, the other guy would pay the rest. To put it in simple terms, it’ll work out cheaper.

The weekend of the meet will be the 15th, 16th and 17th of July.

Now, if you are planning on attending the first ever LO meet, I need to know, I will also need details from you as well, so that I can build a list of who will be there over the weekend.

So please send the following details to me via either Email at von_elmo @ mail2world.com (Just take out the spaces) OR via PM on the forum.

-Your full name (As well as forum name if you are sending by email)
    -Your age
-A contact name and telephone number
    -A contact email address

I will contact you if I need further details nearer the time.

Please only send me your details if you are certain that you will be attending. Obviously I don’t need them all at once like, but still, I’d rather not fill the list up with people who may not be able to make it at the end of the day.

The age limit is 16, so please do not send me your details if you’re under the age of 16. Of course, if you live near or in Nottingham, and are under the age of 16, this does not stop you from going to Lenton to play, but everyone attending the hotel and the actual meet must be 16 or over for legal reasons.

General Behaviour. No being rude and what not. Abusive language kept to a normal level. Since a few of us would be no doubt wearing LO Tees, which have the links and name on. We would be giving LO a bad rep if any of us were rude.
I’m not saying anyone would be rude, but still, it would be disappointing to see, no? Just common sense really.

On a side note. Though I am responsible for the running of the meet and the weekend, I am not responsible for your own actions.

Keep an eye out in this topic for info regarding how the weekend will run.

As i said on IRC about an hour ago i will come if i have the money. If someone would be willing to share an hotelroom i think i can manage on 3000SEK, which isn't an impossible sum for me to come up with... provided i cut some expenses. Getting a sumemrjob would pretty much gaurantee my appearance but sofar i haven't found any.
Worst case scenario would involve asking my parents for money... something i would like to avoid instead i'm going to hold of any room bookings and ticket purchases for now, if i book a room and then don't have the money to live on while there i will have to cancel and that will affect the guy i'm sharing my room with - possibly making it so that he can't come either. I'll let you know if the situation changes.

EDIT: Doesn't seem like i can make it this year. Sorry.

    WEEKEND PLAN!

    Friday:
This day will mainly consist of people getting to Nottingham, and the evening is pretty much free for people to do what they want.
Though if the group wants to, we could get the bus or a fleet of taxis to go to the Cinema or something.

    Saturday:
9.45am: Everyone is to be outside of the Hotel FOR 9.45am.
    10.00am: Lenton opens.

LUNCH AT BUGMANS: Theres no set time for this, though I would prefer we all went at about 1.00pm, since then it will be easier for me to hand out Raffle prizes =^.^=

Gaming will then carry on till 5pm

After that, we'll head back, and somewhere between 6 and 6.30, anyone who want to go for dinner in the BeefEaters near the Hotel can do so

After dinner, the evening is free of course, though there is a pub next door to the Hotel =^.^=

    Sunday:
The day people leave to go home. Nothing is planned for this day, though Lenton should be open for those of you leaving late, and wanting more games.

NOTE** This, at the minute, is only a rough plan, and it is subject to change. So feel free to disscuss anything you'd like to do, or any ideas you may have.

ALSO! On another note. I only have one persons details.
So if you are coming, or plan too, please email or PM me the details from the first post of this topic.
    Thanks

    Toastee
